- I am a repeat participant in this event and have been involved both personally and professionally with the swimming community for over 30 years. Previous to working in alumni affairs and development at Cornell, I served as women's swimming coach for the Big Red.
Do most women find that wetsuits are preferable?

Almost everyone wear goggles and I would say about half wear wetsuits. It really depends on the temperature of the water and air but many women like the flotation and comfort a wetsuit provides.
